Fruit & Feelings is a personal project between me and my 6 year old son. Each outcome is inspired by simple conversations we’ve had about complex ideas—people, food, emotions—things I don’t really understand but feel deeply are at the center of parenting. Feelings are fleeting, our body is temporary. These iterations take on new forms, each one engaging a new material for us. This project is very loose with no desired outcome and will continue to evolve.

This is an individual project based in Los Angeles. Although experimental, decisions are heavily researched and thoughtful. With an interest in the chain of people who are impacted by each step, I am careful and considerate. I design everything with my son, we print on 100% organic cotton in Culver City, then drive it to the sew house in Vernon. We appreciate your support, please reach out with any questions.
